The Berlin-based Kiron Open Higher Education offers advanced training without bureaucratic hurdles to immigrants. The aim is to provide
refugees with a university degree, free of charge, without long waiting times and bureaucratic hurdles.
Behind Kiron are social workers, refugees, students and professors.
This year, the Dr. Jost Henkel Stiftung is once again supporting the program “Integration durch Bildung”, thus enabling three
further “Kiron-scholarships” for students from the area of refugees.
Furthermore, the Dr. Jost Henkel Stiftung will supplement the three basic scholarships by adding a language course this year.
